Magnificent Louis XIV coin cabinet with a drop-down front and a rich internal drawer unit arranged around a small central door. It is entirely inlaid with precious woods with exquisite geometric decorations in light and dark hues. The splendid golden patina of the exceptionally warm and luminous woods is remarkable. The coin cabinet has always been considered the rarest and most select piece of furniture in the history of antique furniture, an emblematic object that distinguished the richest and most powerful families, and was a must-have in grand state rooms.
We emphasize its exceptional state of preservation and lack of restoration. This piece of furniture is absolutely authentic in all its exterior and interior parts, including hinges, locks, and handles.
We issue a stamped and signed certificate of authenticity guaranteeing the period, provenance, and all the characteristics of the piece, drawn up by an antique dealer affiliated with FIMA (ITALIAN FEDERATION OF ART DEALERS).
Delivery in Italy and throughout Europe within 3 days of receiving the bank transfer.
Shipping is tracked and insured and will be carefully packaged in a custom-made wooden crate.
