A beautiful painting signed by Philippe Rousseau (1831-1887), a student of Antoine Jean Gros and Jean Victor Bertin. He received a gold medal at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1848. This work beautifully showcases his talent and pictorial technique with its depiction of peaches and walnuts. The oil painting is in excellent condition, retaining its original patina.
