"Chinese Vase Of Type "ge" With A Neck Shaped Like A Garlic Clove."
A Chinese crackle-glazed vase of the "Ge" type, late 19th/early 20th century, on a gray-beige background. The vase is entirely hand-modeled on its body. The neck is shaped like a garlic clove. The crackle glaze is slightly denser and brown at the top of the neck (see photos). A small, straight foot with exposed glaze at its base. In perfect condition except for a small, invisible chip on the underside of the foot. Height: 27 cm.
