"Dining Room Set, Ingram Model, By Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Cassina Edition, Italy"
A dining set comprising a sideboard, an oval table, two high-backed Ingram chairs, and six mid-back chairs. The dining table functions as a Pembroke table: the side wings can be folded down and are supported by sliding elements that extend from the central pedestal. The chairs feature Mackintosh's characteristic high, graphic backs with double central slats and square cutouts. They are upholstered in a black and white checkered fabric. The sideboard offers ample storage with three doors, six square drawers, and a peripheral shelf. Its back panel is adorned with a stained-glass window depicting Mackintosh's iconic rose (a small crack) and square motifs inlaid with mother-of-pearl. Each piece is stamped "Charles Rennie Mackintosh – CASSINA." The design originates from Mackintosh's 1918 creations and was reissued by Cassina in the 1970s/80s.
