Empire-style Chandeliers, Attributed To Friedrich Bergenfeldt, Russia, Circa 1810
A pair of Empire-style candelabra in patinated and fire-gilded bronze. The horn-shaped finials are each supported by a Diana standing on a lion skin. The last finial rises in the center, forming an arch decorated with knots above the heads of the bearers. The bases, resting on lion's paws, feature appliqués in the form of hunting dogs and arrows with oak leaves and crescents.
