Small Earthenware Pitcher From Haarlem Or Delft With A Rotating Blue Decoration. Circa 1630-1650.

Small, round, footed pitcher in Haarlem or Delft earthenware with a continuous blue monochrome decoration in the "kraak porcelain" style, depicting deer, birds, insects, and flowers; bands of floral garlands or stylized motifs adorn the neck and foot. Circa 1630-50, first half of the 17th century.
Height: 19 cm.
Repaired crack at the neck near the handle; minor chips to the neck and foot.
Cf. Frits Scholten, "Dutch Majolica" and "Delftware (1550-1700) from the Edwin van Drecht Collection," no. 96, pp. 110, 111, 112, and 113; Ed. E. van Drecht, Amsterdam, NL, 1993, attributed to Haarlem or Delft. In this book, we learn that M. Van Dam attributes this pitcher model to the three Delft factories operating during this period.
And also Aronson "Delftware", 2018 catalog, no. 8, pp. 16 and 17, which attributes a pitcher to Delft, De Porceleyne Schotel factory.
To date, there is no confirmation of the origin of manufacture of this pitcher model.
