"Small Antique Enameled Glass Vase – Vienna, Late 19th Century"
Small antique blown glass vase, richly enameled and hand-painted, featuring a historicist Rococo scene with a figure in 18th-century costume, surrounded by polychrome floral scrolls. The whole is enhanced with gilding at the neck, base, and decorative motifs. This type of production is fully in keeping with the Viennese tradition of the late 19th century, characteristic of workshops working for or in the circle of the Lobmeyr firm, a major name in decorative glass in Vienna. An enameled mark is present on the base, attributable to a Viennese workshop of the late 19th century, associated with the Lobmeyr firm. Dimensions: Height: 12 cm Width: 5 cm Depth: 4.5 cm
