"Gallia-christofle "animal" Knife Rest"
A beautiful set of silver-plated metal knife rests by Gallia-Christofle, circa 1930. The design is commonly attributed to the famous Swiss Art Deco sculptor, Gerard Sandoz. The set includes: 2 lions, 2 cats, 2 pigs, 2 reclining dogs, 2 doves, and 2 bears. All pieces bear the Gallia-Christofle hallmark. The set is sold with its original box in good condition, although part of the hinge is missing. Dimensions: 32 x 28 x 4 cm. Good condition (minor marks due to use and age).
