Set Of 8 Art Nouveau Architectural Tiles In Glazed Terracotta, Circa 1895-1910

A glazed terracotta (ceramic) tile with a stylized palmette design, molded in relief and covered with a turquoise to blue glaze, displaying firing nuances characteristic of this period.

The reverse side, with its granular, beige/ochre clay body, indicates molded terracotta production, with traces of installation and original mortar residue, confirming its original architectural use (likely on a facade, fireplace surround, or in a vestibule).

An oval workshop mark is visible on one of the tiles, characteristic of Belgian and German-Belgian industrial productions of the late 19th century, which were very active in the field of Art Nouveau architectural decoration.
