Polychrome terracotta horse known as a "flying gallop," China, Tang Dynasty (618–907). Beautifully dynamic: elongated body, outstretched legs, pose in full motion. Remains of original polychromy and a patina from burial attest to its great age. Authenticity verified by Archeolabs TL thermoluminescence test; report and invoice from the antique dealer included.
