"Half-moon Chest Of Drawers"
A beautiful 18th-century Louis XVI half-moon commode, veneered in rosewood with amaranth wood stringing and framing, opening with three drawers in the front (one in the frieze) and two side doors following the curve of the piece.
It is topped with a Sainte-Anne marble slab, perfectly suited to the rounded shape.
Rich gilt bronze mounts include keyhole escutcheons, drawer pulls, rosettes, corner mounts, sabots, and corner stiles.
The tapered legs ending in sabots emphasize the elegance of the Louis XVI style.
