Her painting, primarily done in her studio, did not, however, preclude a few trips abroad, which the dates inscribed on some of her works allow us to place in chronological order: Provence in 1954, the Netherlands (Amsterdam) in 1955, Normandy (Étretat), and Andalusia in 1963.
Marguerite Bermond died suddenly in February 1991, a few days before the sale of her studio by auctioneer Claude Robert at the Hôtel Drouot, an event she was preparing for. The Taylor Foundation paid tribute to her by creating a "Marguerite-Bermon Prize". Beautifully framed
