"Restoration Period Desk Inkwell In Bronze And Crystal"
A complete period inkwell from the first half of the 19th century, crafted from gilt bronze and bronze with a medal patina, featuring cut crystal inkwells and pen holders. The inkwells and their lids are also in gilt bronze. The center houses the powder compartment and a gilt bronze bell. The front has a cut crystal compartment (a motif is missing on the right side at the bottom). It is decorated with gilt friezes and rests on four claw feet with a medal patina. In good condition, with a small chip noted on the crystal tray along the right edge at the bottom and very minor internal chips to the inkwells. Shipping within France via Colissimo registered mail is included in the price. This is a period piece with its original patina and gilding.
