The quiver-shaped, octagonal stem connects to the octagonal base. Height: 27 cm, diameter 13.5 cm and the other pair 28.5 cm Height. Attributed to Claude Galle, Paris, Empire period, first quarter of the 19th century. This pair of candlesticks is of a very similar model, following 14 pairs of candlesticks delivered by the bronzesmith Claude Galle for the furnishing of the Palace of Fontainebleau in 1806.
