17th-century oil on canvas depicting the Ecstasy of Saint Augustine. The gilded wooden frame is also 17th century and has been treated with a wood hardener. The painting has undergone some minor restorations consistent with age and use; these are not tears but tiny holes, but none are in the face (see photos on the back). Canvas dimensions: 75.5 x 62 cm.
