Limoges Porcelain Cream, Dessert, Or Dessert Course Set From The Art Deco Period
Art Deco period, circa 1930.
An elegant and refined cream, dessert, or dessert course set made of Limoges porcelain, signed Letourneur, featuring a superb Art Deco-inspired geometric design.
This set consists of 12 individual octagonal bowls, a large serving bowl, and a charming sugar bowl or matching lidded container, for a total of 14 pieces.
Crafted from white porcelain, each piece is delicately accented with gilding, featuring a design of gold dots arranged in concentric circles and an elegant frieze of gilded foliage running along the rims.
The small, stepped side handles, highlighted with gold fillets, accentuate the geometric and architectural character of this set.
The lidded piece, with its octagonal lid and gilded handle, harmoniously completes this exquisitely refined set.
A beautiful set of French porcelain with timeless charm, ideal for serving creams, mousses, entremets, fruit, or individual desserts.
A particularly decorative set, combining the elegance of Limoges porcelain with the refinement of an Art Deco-inspired gilded design.
Limoges porcelain, Touze factory, Lemaître Frères & Blancher (T.L.B.), bearing the rooster mark, the “Limoges France Unique” stamp, and the Letourneur Limoges signature.
