PAIR OF FENCING SWORDS, ALUMINUM GUARDS
France, early 20th century
Steel, aluminum, alloy, wood, wire, fabric.
Total length: 111cm; blade length: 90cm.

Alloy pommels, screwed on; square crossguards, wrapped in brown and cream wire. Asymmetrical, single-piece aluminum guards; interiors lined with thick fabric bearing the initials HLV.
Blades with three hollow sides and ricasso.

Good condition. Minor surface corrosion on blades.
