Rare marine sextant with a wide aperture angle, by François-Antoine Jecker in Paris (1765-1834). Sextant in solid mahogany, the alidade, the mount and the limb (graduated arc) are in brass, the alidade engraved: "Jecker à Paris N° 45", production of the early 19th century between 1805 and 1815. Note: Sold as is, without its telescope or reading magnifier.
