"Treat Box"
A 1900s papier-mâché candy box in the 18th-century style. It has brass feet shaped like lion's paws, silk lining, and gilt paper trim in very good condition. The lid contains a miniature painting under glass. Executed in watercolor, it depicts a genre scene and is signed Lourenzo. The original gilt label is difficult to decipher.
