Louis XVI Style Fireplace In White Arabescato Marble, Late 19th Century
A Louis XVI style arabescato marble fireplace dating from the late 19th century. The fluted and reeded uprights are adorned with rosettes at the top, and the lintel is carved with a stylized motif in the center. The mantel top is quite thick. Provenance: a manor house in southern Brittany. Firebox dimensions: H 82 x W 90 x D 25 cm. Fireplace dimensions: H 106 x W 136 x D 35 cm.
