"Louis XVI Flat Desk/writing Table, 20th Century "

A small Louis XVI style flat desk or writing table in mahogany and mahogany veneer, circa 1950. The top is covered in burgundy red leather and edged with a bronze molding. The fluted uprights have rings and sabots at the ends. The frieze opens to reveal a drawer; the internal dividers are removable. Brass ornaments adorn all sides. An elegant piece that can be attributed to the Mailfert workshop. Fully restored in a workshop. H 77 x W 122 x D 67 cm.
