Pair Of Silver-plated Metal Vases In The Regency Style, 19th Century
A pair of silver-plated vases, each hallmarked, though the mark is difficult to decipher, but likely from the Christofle workshop, late 19th century, in the Regency style. Baluster-shaped, widening towards a flared, scalloped neck, they are decorated on both sides with raised cartouches featuring scrolls, foliage, and acanthus leaves, resting on a scalloped foot. The original silver plating is in very good condition. Height 21 cm, dimensions at the neck 7.5 x 5.5 cm.
