Helmet-shaped Ewer, Plated Metal, Silver, Louis XIV
A beautiful and large silver-plated metal helmet-shaped ewer, resting on a round foot molded with fillets. The body is plain, highlighted by a thick rim, and the handle is scrolled. The foot unscrews. Louis XIV period. It dates from the late 17th or early 18th century. Height 27 cm. Good condition, good capacity. It has been silver-plated at some point and has a lovely patina. It is still usable and holds water.
