Carved oak entry stool; its crescent-shaped seat is separated from its platform by a baluster of oak carved with laurel leaves; the seat surface, undoubtedly once upholstered, bears the marks of numerous seeds. This stool has otherwise undergone no restoration. Normandy? Seventeenth century.
