Bedside Table In Louis XV Style Marquetry From The Napoleon III Period.
Rare and amazing bedside table in marquetry. Know-how and very good quality characterize this bedside table with elaborate shapes. Curved on all levels, it is covered with portor marble surrounded by gilded bronze molding; it opens with three drawers, all three locked by the second; it rests on four arched feet shod with small golden clogs; it also has all its gilded bronzes, keyholes, pull handles, falling corners of feet, leafy brozes at the bottom of crosspieces. Its decor consists of rosewood and rosewood marquetry. Louis XV style furniture of a very advanced quality coming certainly from a large house. Napoleon III period. Second half of the nineteenth century.
