Pewter vegetable dish, Germany/Nuremberg - 18th century. Small, round, covered pewter vegetable dish with a curved lid and vase-shaped finial. It is decorated with twisted ribs and has two rocaille-style handles. The finial is bossed. Hallmarked (see photos). Hallmark of an angel holding a sword and scales. Marked ENGELS BLOCK ZIEN and the initials "CW" and "M". Excellent condition. Width with handles: 17.5 cm, height with lid boss: 11 cm, height of the reservoir: 5.5 cm, diameter of the reservoir: 14 cm
