Entryway Furniture
A marquetry cabinet on a background of blackened pearwood and rosewood. It is framed with beautifully chased gilt bronze mounts. The gilding has been restored and is in perfect condition. The medallion is adorned with a bouquet of flowers. The interiors are very well finished (oak and mahogany veneer). The Carrara marble top is in perfect condition. This piece was made in Paris during the Napoleon III period, second half of the 19th century. It has been restored with a traditional French polish finish.
