Mahogany Tea Table – Late 19th Century
A charming two-tiered serving table in mahogany with checkerboard marquetry. The oval trays, of different sizes, are decorated with a marquetry of lozenges surrounded by a stringing of light wood and grain wood. Each edge is inlaid with a stringing of light wood. The upper tray has bronze handles and rests on four concave feet. The second tray is set into the feet, which are highlighted with stringing of light wood and taper towards the bottom. This refined serving table has four delicately curved legs joined by an X-shaped stretcher. ******Period: Late 19th century. Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
