*Jacques Renaud Benard, incorrectly known as Robert Bénard, was a French engraver, born in Rosny-sous-Bois on April 13, 1731 and died in Paris on July 4, 1794.
He participated in the writing of the encyclopedic and methodical table of the three kingdoms of nature, including ornithology, by Abbé Bonnaterre in 1791.
