Small Pewter Vegetable Dish, Alsace, Strasbourg? - 19th century. Small pewter vegetable dish with a flared shape and two fixed handles decorated with gadrooning (row of beads). Lid with two gadrooned friezes (one peripheral, the other central). Spindle-shaped lid. Footed base. Stamped with an angel holding scales and a sword, a stag at its feet, and the initials "ISF" above its head. Alsatian type stamp? to be identified/confirmed. Perfect condition. Diameter 15.5 cm, width with handles 24 cm, total height 11 cm. Markings: 1° - Control mark with the city's coat of arms applied twice.
