Pewter covered bowl from Normandy? Paris? - Late 18th century. Pewter bowl with openwork console-shaped handles and a domed lid with a daisy-shaped finial decorated with a "lace-making" pattern. Stamped on the handle with a fasces surmounted by a Phrygian cap and the initials "PM". Potter to be identified. Very good condition. Diameter 15.5 cm, width including handles 26.5 cm
