Small Cabinet. Seventeenth Century.
A small rosewood marquetry table cabinet with geometric decoration, highlighted by blackened moldings, opens with two doors whose interiors are painted with vases of flowers framed by black moldings, and eleven drawers painted with other bouquets and baskets of flowers, also outlined in black; its open top, also decorated with the same small paintings, opens onto a cavity. Some marquetry repairs have been made; the side handles are present and will be reattached once minor repairs are completed. The price does not include the ongoing restoration of the paintings.
