Regency Period Rosewood Commode – 18th Century. A superb Regency period commode, made in the early 18th century, veneered in high-quality rosewood. It features a bombé front opening to five drawers in three rows, typical of the Regency period. Richly ornamented in bronze, the understated yet refined decoration highlights the deep grain of the rosewood. It rests on rounded feet and is adorned with original bronze mounts (keyhole escutcheons and handles), finely chased. A molded border surrounds the top. An elegant and well-balanced piece, offering both quality craftsmanship, authenticity, and antique charm, ideal for a classic or contemporary interior.
