Large oval porcelain platter from the East India Company, China, 18th century (Qianlong period), intended for the European market. Beautiful polychrome decoration of flowers painted in famille rose enamels, embellished with a stylized frieze on the rim. The floral composition is balanced and elegant, characteristic of high-quality export productions of the 18th century. 42 cm long x 32 cm wide. Good condition considering its age, with wear and small old chips on the rim, traces of use and firing on the underside, but no cracks or repairs. A beautiful and highly decorative piece.
