"Large 18th-century Wooden Cabinet"
Magnificent 18th-century fir wood-paneled cabinet. The front and sides are from a Louis XV period paneling. The back, originally the walls of the building, has been replaced with modern materials (MDF). The fir shelves are all height-adjustable thanks to a rack and pinion system. The cabinet disassembles into four pieces for transport: the two sides and the two central sections. The cornice, shaped like a gendarme's hat, joins the pieces. The interior is painted a lovely duck egg blue.
