"Small Bronze Box, Snail And Weevil "
A curious little box with a lid decorated with a snail, a weevil, and a leaf; the underside has a convex shape, possibly used for crushing or absorbing, a shape found in antique blotting paper holders; the interior base is concave. We haven't been able to determine the function of this rare and original object. - On display in our 400 m² gallery in Lille, open Wednesday to Friday afternoons or by appointment.
