Travel Ciborium For The Sick, Silver-gilt, Minerva Stone, Rhine Cross, 19th Century
A small, finely chased silver-gilt travel or sick-care ciborium, adorned with rhinestones and decorated with egg-and-dart and beaded friezes, hallmarked with the Minerva mark and a silversmith's mark, dating from the 19th century. This ciborium is in good condition. Hallmarked (see photos) on the base, bowl, and lid, with an unidentified silversmith's mark featuring an anchor.
