Second Half Of The 19th Century Ginori Capodimonte Vase
Sumptuous and unique Ginori Capodimonte polychrome porcelain vase. The vase features a classic krater shape, with a gilded bronze base, a ringed foot, and a globular, two-handled body with ribbon handles. The refinement of this piece lies in its decoration, characterized by figurative scenes and the polychrome use of colors that cover the entire surface of the vase. The body depicts a musical scene, with musicians dancing, reminiscent of classical antiquity, and a woman holding a large scepter, her dress revealing her breasts. The neck of the vase features a tangle of ivy, while two birds are depicted under the handles. This is a vase of great refinement and taste, capable of adding a touch of class and elegance to any setting. The bottom bears the crowned "N" mark, identifying the manufacturer as Ginori Capodimonte. Ginori manufacture, second half of the 19th century.
