"Second Half Of The 19th Century Blue Porcelain Vase"
Exquisite blue-painted porcelain vase with gold trim and polychrome paintings. The vase is amphora-shaped, with an opening lid and two handles shaped like ram heads. The vase also features gold and white decorations, featuring leaves and plant swirls. Completing the decorative ensemble are two small paintings in the center of the body, depicting two Roman views: one depicting a landscape with a bell tower and ruins, and the other a perspective view of buildings. Finally, the vase features an initials on the bottom, identifying the manufacturer. This tasteful and refined vase would elegantly decorate any space. French manufacture, Limogès type, second half of the 19th century.
