Daum Nancy France Blue Crystal Vase With Cut Ribs Circa 1930
Artist: Daum
A flared vase with cut ribs, in blue crystal – Signed DAUM Nancy France with the Cross of Lorraine. From 1924, the signature became "Daum Nancy France". From its inception, the Cross of Lorraine was always included in the signature until 1945; since then, the signature has been simply "Daum France" in a very simple and refined style. This vase was also made for the Marquise de Sévigné, but this one does not bear that inscription. Very good condition. Height: 14 cm Diameter: 15.5 cm THE HOUSE OF DAUM Since 1878, Daum, the legendary glassmaker, has maintained a close relationship with the greatest artists of its time for over a century, giving their works a second life in crystal and color.
