**************

Beautiful and rare pair of pewter candlesticks "in the style of silverware" with baluster-shaped stems, undulating feet resting on three foliate pads, and flared sockets. They are decorated with wide twisted ribs.
Hallmark of Hendricus Van de GAFT on both elements: angel with palm / HVG received master in 1748
HERTOGENBOSH, Third quarter of the 18th century.

In very good condition, a small consolidation at the base of one shaft is noted.
Rare model resting on three feet.
