Table set, antique, including a tablecloth and twelve matching napkins, in damask linen of a very beautiful weave quality.
The decor, finely woven, presents graceful bouquets of alternating roses and daisies, playing with subtle reflections depending on the light.
The tablecloth has two hand-embroidered monograms “H L” at its center, while each of the twelve napkins is also monogrammed “H L”.
The whole testifies to a beautiful work of a laundress from the end of the 19th century, both by the finesse of damassé and by embroidery.
Note: a small discreet repair on a towel, without affecting the beauty of the whole.
