Gilded bronze incense holder or potpourri dish by Maison Baguès, “Bamboo” model, 20th century.
Base with bamboo decoration in solid chiseled and gilded bronze; the top is shaped like a corolla and serves as a receptacle that can also be used as a trinket dish.
This is a very elegant, high-quality piece, typical of Maison Baguès’ craftsmanship. Small wear mark on the bottom of the receptacle (see photo).
