Embroidered Silk Panel – China, 19th Century

Chinese embroidered silk panel, decorated with an elegant vertical garland of flowers enlivened by butterflies and finely executed foliage.
On a luminous ivory silk background, the embroidery, created with polychrome silk threads, displays a subtle palette of violet, gold, soft green, and powdery pink, delicately conveying the natural movement of the flowers and the lightness of the butterflies.
This delicate piece would be particularly enhanced in a frame, an ideal solution for preserving and conserving the silk over time.
