Large polychrome carved wooden crucifix with an imposing base adorned with acanthus leaves and pearls. In the center is a medallion inscribed "Memento Mori." Above, at the foot of the cross, is a serpent. The cross itself is carved wood, terminating at the top with the inscription "Inri." The polychrome carved wooden Christ figure is in good condition, apart from some cracks and paint flakes. The piece is in very fine condition and can be dated to the late 18th century. Total height: 81.5 cm; Base width: 31 cm; Base depth: 11.5 cm
