"Small Chest Of Drawers, In Natural Wood, Stamped Duval "
Small chest of drawers in natural walnut, opening at the front with three drawers in molded recesses, gilt bronze drawer pulls and keyhole escutcheons, veined red marble top, 18th century, Regency period, with old restorations. This charming chest of drawers is stamped Duval with the guild mark JME, Nicolas Duval, master craftsman, August 11, 1743. He made many pieces of furniture in natural wood, including hunting buffets. Lovely patina, good condition.
