"Early 16th Century Inlaid Renaissance Sideboard"
Refined andunique sideboard in solid carved walnut, decorated with "Carthusian" inlaysin walnut and other woods. The sideboard features a linear shape, characterizedby a base and top enriched with moldings, while the underside features carveddentils typical of the period. The piece also features two drawers and twodoors, designed for ergonomic and practical storage, which open using knobs andunique mermaid-shaped pulls in lost-wax bronze. The great delicacy of thissideboard lies in the inlays on the front, which create intricate geometricinlays of various types and plant-shaped panels, lending it great class. Thisis a piece of furniture of great taste and refinement, which has participatedin art exhibitions and belonged to a Florentine nobleman, capable of giving atouch of elegance and antiquity to the furnishings of any room.
