We present this lovely ceramic candlestick by Jean Marais, the famous 20th-century actor and potter. He was introduced to ceramics by his friend Jean Cocteau, and after his career as a film and theater artist ended, he devoted himself entirely to ceramics in the South of France, near Draguignan if I'm not mistaken.
