The lower part is decorated with gold tinsel depicting various flowers, complemented by wax flowers, the whole framing a small bevelled oval mirror surmounted by a dove.
The bridal crown, bouquet and brooch are preserved on a blue silk cape, worn and faded by time, as is often the case with this type of piece.
The upper part features a decoration composed of gold foil in the shape of flowers and leaves, ending at the top with a gold dove wearing the crown of peace, a symbol of unity and purity.
The orange blossoms on the crown, bouquet and brooch are made of wax, in accordance with 19th-century custom.
This globe comes from a collector's collection of 13 globes of different sizes, shapes and interiors, each one also unique and for sale.

The base and bell are original and belong to the same set.
