Large carved mirror with a coat of arms cartouche. Baroque, Italy, 17th century. Richly carved, inlaid, and partially gilded wood. Flat cartouche-shaped frame, the wide rim partially pierced with pomegranates, leaves, and a coat of arms cartouche beneath a knight's helmet and crown. The coat of arms is divided into three sections with a tower and a pig on three fleurs-de-lis. Small central mirrored field. Some losses and old restorations. Mount and gilding partially worn.
